Campground Rules & Policies

By camping at Smith’s Fork Park Campground, the registrant and all guests acknowledge all Campground Rules and agree to abide by each rule.

  •  NO ELECTRICAL CONVERTERS OR PIGTAILS OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED

  • Registration is required before

  • Campground facilities are reserved for registered guests

  • Parking allowed in gravel areas only, no parking on the grass.

  • The maximum length of stay is 30 days within any 60 consecutive-day

  • The minimum stay for a recognized holiday is three (3) nights. Stays during a recognized holiday can only be canceled as a whole, not in Recognized holidays are Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Independence Day when it falls on a weekend.

  • One camper and one tent per site OR two tents per

  • Tents must be placed within 25 feet of the camp

  • Campfires are allowed in the fire rings No campfires after midnight.

  • The consumption of alcohol will be allowed on campsites

  • Alcohol consumption will be limited to individuals 21 years of age or

  • Obey campground traffic regulations and observe one-way traffic patterns.

  • Keep the campground clean by placing all refuse in the trash

  • Do NOT put trash in the fire pits

  • Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than 6’.

  • No pets allowed in the park Clean up after your pet.

  • No fireworks, firearms, or amplified sound.

  • Satellite dishes must be placed within 10’ of the camping

  • No washing of camping RV, towed trailer, or towing

  • Powered scooters inside the campground must be street-ready with brakes (front and back), signal lights, headlights, and The rider must hold a valid state driver's license and obey campground speed limits and traffic patterns.

  • Accessible campsite can only be reserved by or for persons with disabilities Proof is required at check-in.

  • Campers must arrive within the first 24 hours of their camping stays or the sire will be made available for resale.

Camping privileges may be revoked by the camp host and enforced by Smithville Police for violations of any of these rules.

Directions from 169 Highway:  Take Main Street east through historic downtown Smithville approximately 1.25 miles to Litton Way (this road goes across Smithville Lake Dam) head north on Litton Way and take the first left, Smith's Fork Dr.  Follow to Campground on left.
