Special Events

Smithville is the host to numerous events every year. Our downtown Courtyard Park is the perfect destination for festivals, vendor fairs, and concerts. We also offer our spacious Smith's Fork Park greenspace for outdoor concerts and special events.

Rates and details regarding the special events can be found in our Special Events Packet. Please complete this entire application along with your $25 application fee to start the process of booking your event. Applications and fees can be returned to Smithville City Hall.

Special Event Process

STEP 1 Download and complete the Special Events Packet

STEP 2 Return completed packet to Smithville City Hall with $25 Application Fee

(If packet is submitted uncomplete, application will be charged again)

STEP 3 SPR Staff will contact you within 30 days if application has been approved or denied

STEP 4 If Approved, SPR Staff will let you know your event fee and it must be paid to get your event officially on the calendar.
